Update — April 2015.
And that is how it sits.
Other projects keep getting in front of it. The Connie keeps spending my time on carb pulls/rebuilds. Plus I like to ride, kayak and site-see with the wife so that limits my garage time even more.
Everything but the motor is boxed up and waiting. And I'm liking the red frame idea less all the time. I'm thinking this may end up as a restore. Maybe a couple updates like upgrading with topend oil lines. Also thinking since I have it this far down that I may go the whole way and take the engine down just short of spliting the cases. Shouldn't need to do that and I'll take any excuse not to. But I'm most of the way there and it'll need new rings at some point. May as well be on my schedule.
